It’s no secret that one of Scott’s most favourite foods is pork belly, so as a treat this week I made Pork Belly and Szechuan Salt & Pepper. It’s so unhealthy, that this is the kind of treat that comes along maybe once a year, so I hope he enjoyed it while it lasted.

If you’ve had pork belly before then you’ll know that Amanda’s picture perfectly captures the mouth watering succulence of what was a pure joy to eat. I actually swore at just how good it was.
If on the other hand you’ve never tried pork belly, I can tell you now that you are missing out on some seriously fucking good food!
Terhi and I are having Rost Elk tonight for dinner.
The beasty was even caught by her Dad and his hunting group in Finland, Butchered and then imported back here by us.
It has been marinading for 36 hrs in soy sauce, red wine, olive oil, crushed garlic, mustard and some black pepper.
I might even swear once I taste it too!
