His words, not mine, but I do like that he’s beginning to refer to himself in the third person as his alter ego of Spazzy Wazzy.

So despite a few rough moments, this has actually been a very good week. Let’s review:

* My shiny new laptop was ordered today and shall be arriving here on Saturday (thanks to Gavin for the expert advice).
* Macquarie will be handling not only the payment, but also the booking of our flights, which gives us one less thing to worry about.
* Our new fan is brilliant (and available to all for discount purchase in 3-4 weeks).
* We paid off our credit card in full, and it felt great! Though Scott was disappointed that the Customer Service Rep at Barclay card wasn’t more congratulatory.
* The flat is officially off the market, so no more viewings. We can actually begin packing (which I have).
* I finally understand the difference between LCD and Plasma (props to Simon), and Scott has decided that a 42 inch TV is probably a bit too big.

So all in all, a very successful week. We also had Mark over for dinner, and while I’m not sure that was “successful,” it was in fact very nice.

Now if the Australian Immigration peeps would kindly get on board, we’d be set. . .
