Off we go. . .we found out last week that Scott has been offered a position in Sydney, so as soon as our sponsored Class 457 visas go through, we’ll be hopping a plane and starting a new life in Sydney.

We now have about two months to wrap up our lives here in Edinburgh and move on to bigger and better things.

At the moment I’m trying to find something to do with myself in Sydney.  Not that I’ve in any way tired of the “ladies who lunch” lifestyle, but I want to keep myself busy, out of trouble and out of Louis Vuitton. 

I’ve found a Master’s program at the University of Western Sydney that seems like a good fit.  It’s a part time, internet based program in Wine Quality.  This way I could work and get another degree.

So work, yes. . .what will I do?  Good question.  When I think of an answer I’ll let you know.  At the moment I’m more interested in making wine than making screenplays, but I always go back to it eventually.

We also need to find a place to live.  We’re selling off most of our belongings and starting from scratch.  So we’ve been researching neighborhoods and viewing properties online to get an idea of what’s around.

Did I mention that neither one of us has ever been to Sydney?
